Amazon wants to sell everything to everyone and have it on your doorstep within 30 minutes. How?? They are creating drones to do the delivery. They are also so tuned in to customer wants. View this 60 Minutes segment:

this is kinda freaky amazon is already set up that it could pretty much do an entire government take over. and with all these drones its as if they could easily turn into sic-fi super villain or something. that being said the same day delivery and drones are pretty sweet.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone can do it, they can. We will need lobbyist, a PR campaign and a boatload of money. I worry about the drone that appears and says, "Show me your papers citizen"
ReplyDeleteUPS is trying this out on a larger scale with cargo planes that have only one human aboard in case something goes wrong. Basically they take off and land on their own.
Sounds like another innovation of technology, even though it is very convenient, it seems unnecessary just for products off of amazon. It sounds like more of an idea towards the future in about 10+ years being able to delivery everyone's product the same day they order it. I couldn't imagine how much it would cost Amazon plus the customers that would pay for it.
ReplyDeleteAmazon has really outdone themselves. I wonder if pizza could be delivered like that. Anyway, I would be concerned about the jobs that would be threatened by this. The unemployment rate is high enough.
ReplyDeleteI like haw amazon tries to keep up with customers needs and wants I see them moving forward in the future and continuing to satisfy customers all around the world.
ReplyDeleteI can see how people would be concerned about job loss! and we definitely don't need anymore of that!
